Traffic fines
Review of traffic tickets and assistance with appeals against Highway Code (Codice della Strada) fines and other administrative penalties.
What we handle
- Review of the ticket: service, deadlines, details of the detection device, grounds.
- Appeal to the Prefect, to be filed within 60 days of the ticket being issued or served.
- Appeal to the Justice of the Peace, to be filed within 30 days of the ticket being issued or served.
- Speed cameras, ZTL zones and traffic lights: checking device approval, signage and correct detection.
- Licence suspension and revocation, penalty points and vehicle impoundment or seizure.
- Failure to identify the driver and related penalties.
- Tax collection notices and payment orders arising from administrative fines, including limitation checks.
- Other administrative penalties (for example municipal regulations).
Don’t miss the deadlines
Appeal deadlines run from when the ticket was issued on the spot or served, and they do not stop. Bring the full ticket, the envelope or proof of service and any useful photos or documents: we will check whether there are grounds for an appeal and which route makes most sense.
Appealing is not always worthwhile — we will tell you frankly, also considering the option of paying the reduced amount.
Let’s talk about it
